The traditional spring and fall clean ups attempt to sterilize our yards. When we do this we strip our yards of natural nutrients, destroy habitat for beneficial insects and disrupt natural processes have an impact on our local ecosystems.
At BNL we take a different approach to cleanups by mulching leaves on site to build soil, leaving select perennials standing during winter to provide habitat and food sources for insects and birds, and many other things. We are able to work alongside nature while maintaining a neat appearance that will make you and your neighbors happy.
